10/10 Excellent
"Building is absolutely beautiful and in good condition. Rooms are clean and perfunctory. Pillows a little crappy, but the vibe overall is fab. The front desk staff are particularly delightful, and it really does affect ones stay. The grounds are fun to explore, and you can really feel the history. Plus I do love some original wainscoting and old world wooden elements that are property preserved."

  1. Book for the cheapest times: The most affordable time to visit Trutnov is between September and November, when hotel prices are lower. For a comprehensive experience of the town's key landmarks, cultural sites, and historical attractions, a stay of at least 3 to 4 days is recommended. This duration allows visitors to explore the rich history of the area, enjoy its charming architecture, and appreciate the welcoming atmosphere of its friendly residents. Travellers on a budget will find that this time frame offers great value for money, as prices may drop further during the autumn months.
  2. Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To discover last-minute deals to Trutnov, visit the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may find discounted rates on nearby hotels as your travel date approaches. Additionally, by enabling email alerts or push notifications from Hotels.com, you could stay informed about flash sales and special promotions, ensuring you don't miss potential savings. The Smart Shopping tool available via the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, so if rooms become available or prices drop, you're more likely to see these updates first and seize the opportunity for a last-minute getaway.
  3. Be flexible with dates: Prices can differ due to factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates could help you save on your stay at a hotel in Trutnov. For those seeking distinctive accommodations, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and may offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the cost is on the higher side, we may suggest alternative dates that could be more affordable, assisting you in finding a better deal.
  4. Consider your location: Staying nearer to key attractions or city centres may offer convenience but often tends to come with higher costs. For more budget-friendly options, consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between price and ease of access to the places you wish to visit. You might also explore independent hotels situated further out, which can provide a more authentic and more likely to be affordable experience.
