8/10 Good
"this was not an upscale hotel, but it was okay. The room was ok but the bed sucked, the mattress was like the ocean, wavy and sloppy, and only a double. the room could have had more light and the AC, lets just say I have had worse. A ceiling fan w/light would have been great. I was not real uncomfortable because as in most hotel stays I simply sleep and shower in the room, don't stay in often. Overall I was okay with the place, it was so convenient for us. Near Pikes Market. the pier district and across the street from a great little drinking establishment, Sonya's. would I stay there again? yes I wopuld but having a handicap I would like to have a handicap bathroom and a better mattress, preferably queen size. On a scale from 1 to 10, I'll give it a seven, with abetter bed it would have gotten an 9, cause I have never been in a 10 hotel."

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Kirkland

  1. Book for the cheapest times: Visiting Kirkland on a budget is a brilliant idea, particularly if you travel in January, February, or December when hotel prices may drop and offer lower prices. A stay of at least 2 to 3 days is ideal for exploring the key landmarks, history, and cultural attractions such as the lake, dining, shopping, birdwatching, cafes, dancing, sunsets, live music, friendly people, and the marina. This budget-friendly destination offers great value for money, allowing visitors to enjoy its rich heritage and lively cultural scene without breaking the bank.
  2. Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: For a stay in Kirkland, you may discover enticing hotel options by browsing the DealsOpens in a new window section on Hotels.com. If you're seeking last-minute options, you could find discounted stays by checking the Last-Minute Deals section. To compare hotel prices and amenities, you're more likely to see attractive offers using the Smart Shopping tool available via the app. Additionally, enabling email alerts or push notifications may keep you informed about flash sales and special promotions, ensuring you remain updated on any changes in availability or price.
  3. Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate based on various factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, being flexible with your travel dates could help you find a more economical option for your stay in a Kirkland hotel. For those in search of distinctive experiences, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised atmosphere and may offer better value. When you make a reservation with Hotels.com, we’ll inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the cost is on the higher side, we can suggest alternative dates that may help you find a more favourable rate.
  4. Consider your location: Hotels near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive, but thanks to Kirkland’s excellent public transport links, you might discover a more affordable independent hotel further afield that remains well connected. For those wishing to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
