Our cabin was very cute but this really is an out of the way location, shops are a 30 minute drive, so I suggest you stock up if you’re planning on eating in. We went to the restaurant as they were have an Italian special week, nice enough and the service was great. Unfortunately there’s mould in the bathroom which was a bit concerning. Not sure if they need to actually replace the entire wall or get in an expert….but it’s very obvious. Note; you’re in the middle of nature so don’t leave food out or you’ll be invaded by ants. Overall it’s a good experience if you want out of the way location… but it’s a little boring. No pool…no play area for kids…

The room was above our spectations - the room had a magnificent feel too it -the views out our window make us speechless the room set up was excellent - and it had a pod machine - the staff where very friendly - we had a mishap at tea time when delivering our meal …- and the team went above and beyond to rectify the problem /highly recommend anyone to stay there

The kids and you will love it!

Amazing! Highly recommend. Especially with kids. Loads of activities. One tip though is if you aren’t there for Friday/Saturday night to take something for dinner as there isn’t much near by. Or we got some takeaways from the restaurant in the arvo and had a cheese platter for dinner from there.

Apart from a confusing check in procedure. (No information on how to check in from Expedia) And when I approached the staff in the restaurant they blamed it on my having incorrect details on file - which was false as Expedia never share guests information with 3rd party provider. Malt house should of reached out and sent information prior to our stay about check in. Also disappointing that once we arrived to rooms, it explained about 24 hour noise from cotton factory next door. Would of been nice to know this beforehand and we could of made the decision to cancel or not. They provided cheap ear plugs that did nothing. For the price of 2A and 1C (not even a 3rd bed) only two kings, it was over priced The air conditioner in both rooms operated with a flashing green light all night, so it was either be cold or forced to be kept awake by the green light & the nearby noise. Rooms were clean and tidy, good amenities. Suggest having menu in the room compendium also, instead of walking down in the dark and cold to look if it was vegetarian and/or child friendly.
