Learn more about Cádiz
Ancient walls embrace this Atlantic peninsula where history unfolds in sun-drenched plazas. La Caleta Beach tucks between medieval fortifications, offering perfect sunset views. The old town's maze-like streets reveal unexpected treasures - a flower-filled courtyard, a tiny tapas bar, a centuries-old cathedral. Climb Torre Tavira's camera obscura for a magical 360-degree projection of the city below. El Pópulo quarter preserves Roman foundations beneath Moorish arches. At the bustling market, fishmongers sell the morning's catch with theatrical flair. Don't miss El Gran Teatro Falla, a flamboyant neo-Mudéjar confection hosting flamenco performances that will raise goosebumps. The locals' passion for Carnival rivals Rio's, with satirical songs and elaborate costumes.

"Breakfast staff was supper nice. But could use more stuff to watch for breakfast. Check in was bad. Machine asked for my passport. But I live here and I dont care my passport."
Boutique Hotel OLOM
"Loved the location of this hotel . Right off the square of the Cathedral . Restaurants , shopping and the beach promenade right outside door . Super central . Easy walk from bus station . We loved the Hop On Hop Off Bus for the elevated view around the city but it is a walkable place. Make sure you find your way to the beach for a great vibe and too many great restaurants and bars to count! The hotel itself very clean and comfortable beds . My room looked right over square & Cathedral. I loved the sound of the bells 🔔! The rooftop pool is a beautiful space to relax and you can sip an adult beverage from their well stocked bar ."

"Great location and lovely space"
Hotel de Francia y París
"Really great accommodation 15 minute walk to the train station if you are travelling around Spain. In a nice plaza with great restaurants and amenities. The plaza bar next door has the most wonderful waiter if you don’t buy the breakfast. Hotel staff were super helpful and friendly. If you want to go to the beach you can leave 10 euros at the front desk and return the town for your money back. So you don’t have to carry towels and things with you."
Hotel Argantonio
"The best! Ambiance, cleanness, beautiful, the rooms, staff...all of excellent. I would go back to only this hotel. Perfect 👌"
Áurea Casa Palacio Sagasta By Eurostars Hotel Company
"We loved the classic elegance of this beautiful hotel. The location was perfect and the staff is friendly, helpful and professional."
Hotel Boutique Las Cortes de Cádiz
"This beautiful and welcoming property with rooftop mirador is centrally located within a pedestrian zone. Not so convenient if traveling with a car. Expect to pay more than 20 Euros for daily parking if using nearby city garage that can be difficult to navigate. Great find and friendly staff including owner that lives onsite."
Hotel Cádiz Paseo del Mar Affiliated by Meliá
"todo perfecto , super recomendable , tanto solo en pareja o en familia, sin duda volvería"

For those seeking a distinctive experience, boutique hotels can provide a more personalised touch and occasionally offer improved value. When you book through Hotels.com, we will inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price appears to be on the higher side, we may suggest alternative dates that could be more affordable.

For those inclined to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known neighbouring towns, there is often excellent value for money to be had.
