Bled Rose Hotel
"Prime location with great breakfast. The room was very cozy"
Hotel Park - Sava Hotels & Resorts
"A very nice hotel with a perfect view of Lake Bled. The pool was amazing and the sauna area was well done. The rooms are a little small and dated, however charming and comfortable. The main foyer and breakfast were both excellent."
Rikli Balance Hotel - Sava Hotels & Resorts
"Good hotel but I felt it was quite expensive for the room standard. The view from the balcony was excellent but the aircon was weak and the bathroom felt dated. The location is super handy, and the staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also very good and on at good times with plenty seating. The pool areas are a huge highlight of this hotel too- it’s great to have so many to choose from and beautiful views from the terrace. I felt we were charged a lot for extras I expected to be included, for example the onsite saunas. There was also a fee for lost room keys (and remember to take one per person for the pool areas so you cant get in otherwise). It was also the only hotel on our trip that charged for parking however I believe this is due to a bigger parking issue in Lake Bled in general. I would stay here again however- and booking the balcony room made all the difference!"

"The best things about this hotel are that it is a 1-minute walk from Villach HbF; the rooms (at least mine) were clean and quiet, despite proximity to the train (and bus) station; the desk staff was friendly; and the breakfast buffet was pretty good. It's a 10-minute stroll from the old town and the most scenic part of Villach."
Hotel Sandwirth
"Very nice and spacious room. The room was clean, great service and delicious breakfast with a wide variety of options. A nice stay!"
B&B HOTEL Klagenfurt-City
"The young lad at the front desk was very kind and accommodating! Nicest person I’d met in Austria!"
Limehome Villach Kirchenplatz
"The location is great. We requested a fan in the apartment in advance. This was not supplied. After check in we were only given one bath towel for 2 adults and two small hand towels. We requested another towel. Again no reply."
Hotel Seven

Garner Hotel Klagenfurt Moser Verdino by IHG
"Beautiful and modern hotel with spacious rooms and state of the art bathrooms. It’s centrally located and close to all tourist sight that one may need to see. Breakfast is 5 Stars. Strongly recommend this hotel."

- Book for the cheapest times: The most affordable time to visit Villach is during March, October, and November, when hotel prices tend to be lower. For those on a budget looking to explore the city's rich heritage, a stay of at least 2 to 3 days is recommended. This duration allows visitors to discover the key historical landmarks, such as impressive castles and fascinating museums, as well as enjoy the natural beauty of nearby hot springs, lakes, and mountains. With the potential for prices to drop during these months, Villach offers great value for money for travellers keen on culture and history.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To uncover last-minute deals to Villach, visit the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may discover discounted rates on accommodations as your travel date approaches. Consider enabling email alerts or push notifications from Hotels.com to stay informed about flash sales and special promotions, ensuring you don't miss any chances to save. Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool available via the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, so you're more likely to see the best options. You'll be promptly notified if rooms become available or if prices drop, making it easier to book your spontaneous getaway.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate due to factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates might help you find a more economical option for your stay in a Villach hotel. For those seeking a distinctive experience, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised touch and occasionally better value. When you make a reservation with Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price seems a bit high, we can suggest alternative dates that may offer a more favourable rate.
- Consider your location: Remaining closer to key attractions or city centres can be convenient, though it usually tends to be more expensive. For more affordable options, you might consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, balancing cost with ease of access to your planned destinations. You could also explore independent hotels further afield, which are more likely to be affordable while offering an authentically local experience.
