My stay was great! The location of the hotel is so convenient. Amazing view of you have the fortune to be at street side
5-night trip

Good location, staff helpful Room big enough for a couple of days but not for longer as had no drawers or hanging space Was in room 3.3 and everyday we lost power and lights and the staff had to reset the fuse board . Was annoying but didn’t ruin our stay

Very hospitable and easy to check in and out. Rooms are a little small so if you travel heavy with lots of luggage this isn’t the one for you but if you’re a light packer then you’ve found the dream.

Nice and convenient hotel. Good communication for Check-in and invoice. All worked.

Staff are lovely, location is great, room is small but you get what you pay for. My only complaint is the NOISE. The walls are really paper thin, and people throw their suitcases down the stairs every morning for no reason (there is a lift). So having a nice sleep-in was quite impossible.

The hotel is in renovation, so when we came in the water was shutdown and we connot take a shower (35 degres outside). Because of the renovation the hotel was noisy.

Great location - very close to Paradiso and we could see the Rijksmuseum from our window. The hotel itself was in an old tenement style building which i thought was cool. Our room was a small attic room which was clean and comfortable. The window didnt open, but there was air con.

Great locayion for museums and 2 tram stations within a 5 minute walk. Its an old building so you can hear a noise from the hallway but overall not too disruptive. Overall it was a great stay!

The people working reception were friendly and helpful. The room was good for a small, economical room in Amsterdam. If you have no experience staying in small rooms where you do not have ample room for large check in luggage etc, you may be surprised. The room was overall clean, but the shower drain had not been cleaned in quite a while, so I had to do it myself to prevent standing in water while showering. The location is very convenient and close to the tram and tourist sites.

Really small room, but with a great view to the rijksmuseum. And if you want to go romantic. Perfect little room.

This was a lovely building with its own cafe next door, very accessible to all the amenities. All within a strolling walk of everywhere and tram stop right outside. Hotel very clean and lovely en-suite, the only drawback with the inside room as ours was called, is there’s no hanging space or drawers for clothes. Maybe just a rail put on the wall would have helped. But otherwise lovely. And they even decorated our room for our birthdays.

We went for small double room. Nice view over canal to museum. Room was quite small but good for what we needed and nice shower room. Lift up to top floor that we were on. Really nice and helpful staff. Clean. Comfortable bed. Tea/Coffee in room.

Very nice room. And Gabriella is just too nice.

Hotel is perfect location in the heart of the city. Very narrow staircases, but there is an elevator. You need to check in at the Mina Cafe which is attached to the hotel. Staff is very friendly. Very close to museums, bus access and canal cruises. Room was clean with some dust visible. The hotel has been renovated and has very modern showers with soft water which is very nice. The water is filtered and great for drinking. Rooms have AC/heat and windows cannot be opened. It has a tiny fridge. There is no free or cheap parking nearby. We found a parking garage a 1/4 mile away at €55 for 24 hours. We enjoyed our stay and wanted to stay longer, but they book fast! Highly recommend.

Very nice and clean rooms! The only thing was there was barely any lighting in our room. No overhead lighting and the lamps were so small that it made it impossible to see much at night time.

It was noisy in my room from the floor, neighbours, etc.

Not a Hotel — More Like a Hostel Charging Hotel Prices This place is marketed as a hotel, but in reality, it feels more like a hostel — just with hotel-level pricing. You're essentially paying for the location, as it's close to the museum quarter, which is admittedly convenient. Here are the key issues: No real reception – There's no front desk. Instead, a staff member at the café next door acts as "reception" from 9 AM to 6 PM. Poor accessibility – There’s no proper entrance; you have to climb stairs, and taxis can’t stop right outside the property. Extremely small rooms – The room is tiny, even by Japanese standards. You can't fully open a suitcase on the floor. No real windows – The only windows face the staircase and a very slow elevator. You can hear everyone passing by clearly. Inconvenient power setup – Turning off the room lights also cuts power to the outlets, so you can't charge your phone unless you leave the lights on (except in the bathroom). Basic bedding – Standard hostel-quality linens and pillows (cushions actually). On the plus side, the room was clean and odor-free — but that should be the bare minimum for any hotel. Overall, if you’re expecting hotel quality, you’ll likely be disappointed. You're paying for the location, not the experience.
