"Thank you"
The Glenmore Inn & Convention Centre
"Great place for a long weekend. Extremely clean room with plenty of towels. Bed was comfortable and the thermostat worked well to control the temperature of the room. Fan wasn’t working in the bathroom but we weren’t bothered by it. Pool and slide were well maintained and had long open hours, (7am to 10pm) hot tub was nice too, we enjoyed it in the evening but unfortunately was out of order for our morning. Amenities were appreciated, microwave isn’t super high power but enough to heat up small meals. Fridge was a good size and kept everything cool. Ironing board was clean and iron worked very well. Staff were polite and answered our questions. Would stay again if I needed to stop through Calgary."

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Calgary
- Book for the cheapest times: Calgary offers great value for money on a budget, with lower prices in January, February, and December making it an affordable destination. A stay of at least 3 to 4 days is ideal for exploring the city's key attractions, including its renowned skyscrapers, historical landmarks, and cultural sites like theatres, riverside vistas, architectural marvels, and natural parks. This period is particularly appealing for those wishing to immerse themselves in urban heritage, history, and culture while enjoying budget-friendly travel.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: When planning a trip to Calgary, you may discover enticing hotel deals by exploring the DealsOpens in a new window section on Hotels.com. For those seeking last-minute getaways, the Last-Minute Deals area displays discounted options close to your travel date, and enabling email alerts or push notifications could keep you informed of flash sales. Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool in the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, so if availability opens up or prices drop, you're more likely to see an opportunity to book a timely escape.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may vary depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and time of year, so being flexible with your dates could help you save on your Calgary hotel stay. For those seeking distinctive accommodations, boutique hotels might offer a more personalised experience and potentially better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average, and if it appears higher, we may suggest more affordable dates to help you find a better deal.
- Consider your location: Hotels in close proximity to the city centre generally tend to be more expensive, though thanks to Calgary's superb public transport connections, you might discover a more affordable independent hotel further afield that remains well linked. For those wishing to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
