This is a cute little place for sure! The room was nice and cool when we came in. The room was very clean. The beds seem firm at first but then you realize it’s like that memory foam. I slept well on it. We used the microwave and fridge and both worked appropriately. Good shower. Great experience and the price was fantastic!

Room was very clean, the A/C was ice cold, the bed was amazing and the ease of check-in/check-out fabulous! We loved the key pad lock system on the door (no actual card to keep up with) and communication by email from front desk. We were very busy, so it was nice to be able to focus on what we were there to do, not worry about front desk hours. You can tell it’s an older travel motel that has been newly renovated, it has no frills, but the deco is super clean and the retro-vibe is fun. Highly recommend!

This is a very cool motel. In a very safe area, staff was polite, helpful and just really great. Most comfortable beds, great pillows, really cool retro vibe. Large fridge, everything you will need at a bargain price. Will use this as my go to place to stay in Starkville!!

Great little motel. Loved the decorations. Everything was neat and clean. It really seemed like the owners tried to think of everything a guest may need. We had a great time at the rec area with the games. Good location too, not too far from the college area and close to shopping. Would definately stay again. What a great price!

We stayed one night at the Hilton Gardens and it was infested with ants. They were alI over my son’s back pack and all the over the bed. So needless to say we left! I was very iffy about a motel and I’m very picky on where I stay but when I looked up places to stay this came up and it was rated 9.8 so when I started to read the ratings they were all good! Felt very comfortable and safe the moment we walked in our room it smelt very clean and the room was spotless! I highly recommend FarOut Motel!

This is a great boutique hotel in the heart of Starkville. Very close to the Mississippi State Campus and perfect for our overnight stay. The room was spotless, the foam mattresses were comfy, and we had everything we needed (including a large-screen TV to watch World Cup games). We were in a double Queen with a kitchenette and a small table. Plenty of room and well laid out. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the air freshener, which was a little on the strong side and not necessary.

We needed a room in Starkville for a funeral. I’m a Hilton Honors member, but even the basic rooms were $150-$175. I’m so grateful I found Far Out on AirBnb. The room was great and even so cute with the Johnny Cash theme (we were in Room 22). I wish we could’ve spent more time in the courtyard/outdoor patio space, but it was rainy. A totally clean and safe stay with some personality for $90. Would absolutely book again.
