This hotel had the best front desk staff! I loved the location and the room was great value for money especially given the location. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was also fantastic. I will stay here again! Important to note the stairs are almost vertical so pack light!!! Staff are very helpful with heavy suitcases but better to go light.

Great little place well situated to all amsterdam has to offer. No issues whatsoever…helpful staff, clean room, well priced. Be warned though they have no elevator and the stairs are trecherous to carry heavy luggage up but thats not their fault thats just the way the building was built…highly recommended

The property is under new ownership and they are definitely improving facilities. The room was clean, comfortable beds and great value with wonderful access to Amsterdam Central from transportation to city life. The staff are courteous and extremely helpful. We would go back without hesitation.

CS is almost all automated. There is a limited front desk, luckily, if you have data problems. Room is comfortable and I lucked out having one with a great view of the street. It’s not often you can see Amsterdam from the top floor of the oldest buildings rather than looking up. No elevator and the staircase is extremely small and steep, unfortunately.

Stairs are dangerous Bathroom is worse than a prison no soap no toilet paper dirty so small it's impossible to use this was the deluxe room checked out after one night no compensation given give this dump a miss!

A bit hard to find (a new sign for CS hotels would help) but one of the best locations to explore Amsterdam from. Room clean, shared facilities basic but ok. For a cheap place to chill in the heart of the city. Royal Palace and Anne Frank house just a short stroll. away. Under 50/ recommended. Stairs are almost vertical. 2. Thanks team!
