Lovely welcome. Good size room, pretty colours and attention to detail. Real fresh milk provided and home made flapjacks. A delicious breakfast with homemade bread! Everything had been thought about and and was presented well. A place of humour and happiness not excellent- exceptional!

We stayed at the Halmer Grange and it was a delight. The proprietors went the extra mile to be as helpful as possible. The breakfast was perfect. My request for non-dairy milk was no problem. They even provided a daily top-up of both dairy and non-dairy milk in our room. Lovely people ...... Lovely place. We will certainly book there again.

Excellent accommodation, lovely hosts, fantastic choice of breakfast. Room was clean and comfortable quite large with an excellent open window view of the church. Nice room touch with the cakes made in house. Teas & coffees too. Only two very minor quibbles- shower isnt a power shower and occasionally the stream would go weak, but buildings probably quite old. WiFi not the greatest, lots of dropouts unfortunately, but probably in a blackspot. Neither affected our stay. Highly recommend!

Breakfast was absolutely stunning! Never had a better breakfast in any hotel than this one, fresh fruit, yoghurt and honey to start with and then yesterday I had eggs royale my partner had the full Yorkshire breakfast both mornings. This morning fruit, yoghurt and honey and then eggs Benedict, partner had fruit, yoghurt and honey and full Yorkshire. The rooms were large, clean and comfortable. Karen and Charlotte so helpful and nothing too much trouble. Brilliant stay xx
