This was so nearly a 4* place. We were on a refurbished floor, so the room was modern and comfortable. However, it was the little things that let it down. Silly things, like the bed side tables were small and had no drawer or lower shelf. The hanging space in the wardrobes is such that you can't hang longer items, or indeed many items at all. There was no where to put your suitcases.
The shared areas were fine and plentiful. Being low season, can't talk to whether there are enough sunbeds, etc. for peak season. Probably not, and there's a lot of interior spaces that we never saw used.
Reception was good. Maria was particularly helpful, we even got checked in 2 hours early - again probably a low season thing.
We only ate there for breakfast. That experience was OK. If you go wanting a full English from the buffet, then forget it. They do all the items, just never on the same day! However, what was there was fine. The wait staff were a little over efficient - we could barely finish a plate before it was whisked away!
The location is fine. It's between bus stops 16 and 17. We always went downhill to 16 as we had friends near stop 15. There are a lot of places to eat nearby, especially if you go slightly inland about 10 mins walk from the hotel.
They say the beach is 150m - it is, but the path through the scrub land is not fun, and no good if you have mobility problems. You're better off going down the hill and cutting across next to the Skiathos Princess hotel.
