Wonderful experience

The staff really got to know you and they were so friendly and kind, but also stayed professional. They greeted us with fresh juice, showed us the room and how the shower works and how to use the air conditioning. They were on top of everything and met our needs. They arranged for a car to pick us up to take us to the airport at 4. They let us check out around 12-1 and kept our bags safe before we were picked up. If I am back in Moshi, I will definitely stay again.

Primeland is a small first class boutique hotel and highly recommended. Its 3 star rating belies its quality. The only drawback is that the very clean standard double rooms, although very well appointed, are small.  This can easily be overcome by booking a twin room (for a few pounds more) and requesting the removal of the single bed. The breakfast is limited but quite adequate and the lunch / dinner menu extensive for the size of the hotel.  The grilled Nile Perch is highly recommended as is the Beef Pizza but all the food is both well cooked and presented, with local representatives. The Beef Samosas are equal to any in the subcontinent or souks of the Middle East.  The service is most attentive.  The swimming pool, while not Olympic size, is more than large enough for recreational swimming and has a bar area adjoining. The pool, which can be viewed from the restaurant has alternating colour lighting in the evening.  The hotel building and pool are surrounded by a pleasant and varied well kept garden. It is located in an area outside the centre with indigenous shops and housing but is only a 7 minute (€1.5) tuktuk ride from the town centre and the local Mbuyeni market. Finally, and by no means least, in appropriate cloud conditions it has an excellent view of the peak of Kilimanjaro above a local foreground of trees. A self parking area is provided within the walled security area which is controlled by a Masai guard as well as a local uniformed security company.10+/10.

There were 16 of us staying here over 4 days and we had such a great stay! The rooms were comfortable, the food excellent, the pool is nice, and the staff were fantastic! They made us feel so welcomed. Jackie went out of here way to help us with excursions and Godfrey, Betha, Judy and the other staff were so kind. I highly recommend staying here and we hope to be back again!

Ein sehr nettes, kleines Hotel, zur Abwechslung im modernen Stil gehalten. Ich war vollständig angetan. Was will ich mehr: saubere Zimmer, da gab es nichts, ein tolles Frühstück, sehr abwechslungsreich, eine gut sortierte Bar und eine hervorragende Küche. Dazu das immer freundliche Personal, welches einem fast jeden Wunsch erfüllte. Ich war rundherum zufrieden und kann das Haus nur empfehlen
