Learn more about Clarkesville

Notable for its riverfront, Clarkesville features attractions such as Tallulah Gorge State Park and Lake Burton. This relaxing city has something for everyone including sights like Chattahoochee National Forest and Chattahoochee River within a secluded setting.

On my way down from the mountains I stopped at Tallulah Falls, a place I had never visited even though it very well known in Georgia.

What I wasn't expecting was the hike. On paper it looks like a mile round trip; in reality it is 1,200+ stairs round trip! It was worth it though with this fall color.
