I was initially disappointed when I realized the property is a refurbished motel with room access via doors directly to the outside. However, the comfortable and welcoming lobby/bar/lounge area and pristine room with a comfy king size bed more than made up for it. The room also had complimentary, refillable water bottles with glasses (not plastic), and beautiful bathroom with full size shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and body lotion. And finally, there was a wardrobe with shelves to store clothes and shoes and a cushioned chair in the corner with a reading light. This was the most comfortable and well appointed hotel room I've been in. Staff at breakfast and at the bar after dinner were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend, though I prefer the rooms on the 2nd floor.

For the Berkshires, a nice, affordable option. Property has been updated, has some luxurious touches (le labo!), and is overall nicely designed. Food at the restaurant is delicious. The rooms could be a little bit cleaner, and the staff could have been a bit friendlier (but maybe they were just exhausted from a busy season). If you’re staying on the first floor, the a/c definitely works but dehumidification is kind of an issue. Overall, a good stay. Location is convenient to absolutely everything.

The lobby is upscale and lovely. The rooms are a renovated motor lodge. The room was clean. The room was facing the road and was very noisy. The in room ac/heat was also noisy. It’s a point of concern because of the high price tag for the room.

I stayed for a short time, this had everything I needed and was reasonably priced. Room was a clean, had a comfy bed, was quiet, and very friendly staff to greet me both when I checked in and out… with yummy coffee in the morning. It’s a basic stay, but everything you need. I did not realize this was a motel. It is advertised as a hotel. The room was small (except for the bathroom which was disproportionally large) The room had one window which meant the room was dark-ish even with the sun out. The air conditioner was large and underneath the one window. It’s presence made it hard to reach the chain the lowered the blind to cover the window at night. On the plus side, the room and the property were iclean and the room was quiet despite it being a summer weekend and it looked pretty full.

Very well-designed "budget" (for the Berkshires) motel, but at almost $400/night, I'd expect a cleaner room at least. There was dog hair all over the shower floor, long human hair in the fridge?!, and I had to use a tissue to dust cobwebs off the TV and table lamps. Amenities were just ok - I was surprised that the TV had no streaming service, just very limited cable channels that kept cutting out to fuzz. No coffee in the room, just in the shared lobby and very minimal (no decaf option either days, no hot water for tea out on day 2). We had some apps at the bar before dinner that were basically inedible. Overall, I'd say a 3.5 star experience. The convenience of the location just outside of town and the great interior design are doing a lot of the heavy lifting here. Seems best suited for couples that need a pet-friendly crash pad for outdoor adventures and not much more.

I usually stay here and yes staff are nice and rooms are decent but I’ve seen a decline in amenities. Maybe the expense of things - bathrobe in room, water and snacks were what I was used to seeing .in the room.
