Staff saved the day
When we arrived for the stay we booked about 5 months previously, and was confirmed by hotels.com and about which we got our stay reminders, we learned that our reservation had been cancelled by the booking company. There was no record of our reservation at all. However, the front desk staff was very accommodating and placed us notwithstanding. The hotel was very busy and appears to be a popular choice for travelers planning to depart from the nearby cruise ship port. Very pleasant staff.

Rooms with a view, find food elsewhere.
A great location with beautiful views. We loved our room and the balcony, part of the newer building on site. The only negative was the food, a quick lunch was easily 2+hrs every time. Staff was always overwhelmed, running around frantically, understaffed, short on silverware, running out of napkins etc etc. Despite simple menus nothing came out at a reasonable time from any of the restaurants, often cold, overcooked or clearly reheated and dry. The drinks were mostly mix but still tasted good. We would have loved this place even more if the food was up to the standards implied and not extremely overpriced for the quality.

Breakfast sucked and Im not a breakfast person. Not a big variety and a lot of manufactured food. Lunch and dinner was ok. Tacos were good. Need more staff and trianing in attentiveness to all not just some guests. Overall it was good. The pools and hottubs are great. The beach is nice but needs another server and unbrella person.

Divi was a great stay with excellent food, drinks, amenities, and friendly staff. The all-inclusive option was very worth it. Staying at Oceans took the stay a level up. There isn't much to do in the area so a taxi or rental car is needed. The taxis can be expensive for big groups so I suggest renting a car from the airport. I can't wait to go back.

The hotel was great overall. Our room had beautiful views. The beach was also beautiful, warm water, you could swim all day. Food was really good. Most staff was really friendly. The only downfalls were there was only one air conditioned restaurant and it was hot to eat dinner outside all the time. And service was pretty slow. But Everything else made up for that. I would come again. We had a great vacation.

This Divi is extremely under staffed: 3 of 6 days our room was not cleaned nor serviced and we went without clean towels and linen. No coffee maker, but we were offered one. The kitchenette was only a sink, nothing more. The wait time for any meal was unreal, especially at the PurOcean restaurant. And the quality of the dinners were low.

Oceans is beautiful. The property is well maintained, clear water, very nice beach. Food and drinks were very good . The view from the 2nd floor is wonderful. Fort Amsterdam is a must see. Watching the cruise ships come into the port was cool. I highly recommend staying here. The all inclusive option is well worth it. Its a very safe island, we recommend renting a car and exploring the island. We will return to Oceans

Beautiful property. Beachside. Nice pool. Low time is nice because the beach is more quiet and private. Most staff is accommodating. Demeanor of some is dry, but not sure who is a part of oceans and who simply work at the bars because some parts are open to public. All and all great experience and would go back.

The beach was one of the best beaches I have ever visited. The resort was very clean. The service was always friendly. Pureocean restaurant on the property was very good. Mimi and Rhianna were the best. They made us feel welcome and we looked forward to seeing them almost every day. I will be returning next year and will recommend this resort.

Rooms updated very nice and modern . Food selection could have been better but the bar food excellent. Taco bar didn’t open until our last day there . If you want to relax this is the place to be it wasn’t a lot of people there because of their off season .
