When you go to the Meridien Mauritius you know that they will will do their utmost to satisfy you. The quality of the F&B and the kindness of the staff make you forget the rocky beaches (water shoes) but also offers the most beautiful sunsets of the Island. Perfect vacation. From the beginning to the end of our stay we had a wonderful time. Everyone treated us nicely and we were asked a lot times if there is anything that can be done to improve our time at Le Meridien. We want to say a special thanks to Luxmi, Bayo, Aman, Muniz, Juninho, Rodrigo and everyone from the kids club for your all your effort that you showed our family. The hotel offers a great mix for families with children or adults only. The location makes it also easy to go on tours in the north or the Port Louis area. We are definitely planing to come back soon.

Newly renovated so nice rooms. Unfortunately the service was very bad and weird setup. Was not allowed to put drinks on my room and asked to go to reception to pay for my drinks. The bar staff were embarrassed about the whole situation and apologized (they were good). To top the bad experience i started getting calls to my room i had to settle my bill from earlier at lunch. I had not even checked in by then since i arrived by 5pm. This did not occur to them at first and it took some time and explanations. This was my second time visit this year and i must say i will not be heading back. The service is simply awful and among the worst i have encountered in Mauritius which i visit many times a year. Will choose another hotel next time.

From being welcomed at the hotel to the final check out the staff were so friendly and went that little bit extra to make sure our stay was an amazing one. The choice of food and drinks were great and we were able to book the speciality restaurants with ease. Pools were great along with the choice of water sports that were included. We would like to say a big thank you to Angele who did a great job in looking after us in the Nirvana part of the hotel and Sheila who kept our room spotlessly clean. Also Klea who made sure we always had a drink in Latitude and Owen who worked at the bar there and also in Jade with his drink recommendations. Bayo also made sure we had food and drinks around the main pool. So a big thank you to these and all others that made our stay as special as it was. Hoping to return in the future.

Excellent property and perfect staff!

Property in perfect conditions, excellent facilities and super friendly and efficient staff. I was there during a typhoon level 3 alert. The airport was closed and a lot of clients got struck. The front desk, concierge and guest relations were simply amazing! The management did huge efforts to minimize clients’ discomfort. Amazing!

Definately stay in the Nirvana adult only side if you want to have quiet stay without the noise of kids. Nirvana rooms also have butlers that are amazing especially Kesaven. Also the Nirvana pool bar employees took good care of us especially Espoir. We stayed here for honeymoon and truly enjoyed it.

April 2025 Der Himmel auf Erden! Von der Anreise mit Früh-checkin über der perfekten Service und die Freudlichkeit von allen Mitarbeitern des Hotels, die hohe Qualität des Essens in den Spezialitätenrestaurants, die sportlichen Angebote bis zum kostenfreien Late-checkout war einfach alles perfekt. Einer der schönsten Urlaube, die wir je hatten. Unser persönlicher Butler Keseven tat sein Bestes, um unsere Wünsche bestmöglich zu erfüllen. Unsere Zimmerdame Sheila war so voller Herzlichkeit und im Säubern und Gestalten des Zimmers mit kleinen Überraschungen nicht zu überbieten.Nivis und das gesamte Team des WAVES waren einfach nur Super! The hotel is perfect, with 5 star restaurants. The staff could not be any more helpful and friendly. It was ana amazing stay. The beach surrounding the hotel is beautiful, the sea you must wear swim shoes. Would return again and again.
