Great stay at the chateau, clean, quiet, nice pool and gardens, great service from the staff, good restaurant… I just wished there was more service at the pool/food truck, we could not enjoy any service while using the pool.

Chateau De Montcaud delivered beyond our expectations from their warm staff to the modernized and clean rooms. The linens and beds made sleeping so comfortable. We stayed here for two nights as we explored the Chataneuf du Pape wine region. The hotel gave outstanding recommendations for tastings and tours. Do not miss the dining experiences at each of their restaurants. The bistro is outstanding, but the gem is the newly 1 star gastronomic restaurant. Truly, it was the best!! Well executed and delicious. Don’t hesitate to book.

amazing chateau close to Avignon
Chateau de Montcaud is a magical place! We were among the first guests as it got fully refurbished and just opened this month. It is an old Chateaux, but keeps up with the newest technology and developments (such as TV, wifi and tresor in the room). The room itself was immaculately clean and very elegant with big windows, with excellent views of the park. The bathrooms are bright and spacious. The swimming pool is perfect for cooling down and relaxing. We had outdoor dinner in the plantain garden overlooking the park, and were not disappointed, the food was absolutely delicious.
We fell in love with this place and will definitely go back!
