I frequently stay at this hotel and will continue to do so as I travel to the area about once a month.
I don't write this review for frontline staff....all of them in the last 4 years have been nothing but kind to myself, my service dog, changes in plans. I can't call it home, but I feel safe there due to the staff I've interacted with and my prior experiences.
So, I give this feedback with the caveat that perhaps this Expereince was a one off. But I offer these suggestions: specifically request that you not be assigned to room 209. It's the worst room in the hotel mostly because it is on the second floor and the window looks out onto a first level roof with heaters/exhaust system for your visual enjoyment. in my case, I was upset not because of aestetics but because around 8pm, my room started to smell like meat cooking. What made it worse was I had noticed the window didn't;t close completely when I checked in, and due to fatigue, decided not to complain. I was there 3/23-3/26/2026.
Staff was really responsive and moved me to another room without making me feel like it was crazy that the smell of cooking meat makes me nauseous. But, not fun at 8:30 at night.....
