The room was clean, quiet and modern, but lacked a refrigerator, iron and an independent thermostat. The room was warmer than I preferred, so I opened the window. Casting video from your phone to the tv required cable connection. The shower was small.

I've stayed at a few Scandic hotels in Denmark and unfortunately this one is not great. The breakfast was good, and the hotel was clean(ish). The rooms are quite small for the price and I personally found the beds uncomfortable and the room too warm even with the window open, but I'm willing to accept that's a me thing. It's expensive... £8.31 for a non alcoholic beer... But, again, hotel bars often are. I've become desensitised to hotels claiming to be environmentally friendly because they don't launder towels or clean the room daily, but the Scandic Ringsted expects notice before 11am the day before to reserve room cleaning and I was told at check in that this service was "free". I do hope that this is not Scandic Hotels trying to monetise this but, alas, I doubt it

We stayed here for 6 days to visit family. We had the suite which was larger than most rooms here. The breakfast was good but that is where the 'good' ended. As most places in Denmark, this was significantly overpriced. There was no air-conditioned, fridge or microwave for a suite room. The pillows were the size of small cushions and we had twin comforters for a queen size bed! The location is about 50 minutes from the main city of Copenhagen and the transit costs alone will set you back significantly, not to mention the inconvenience. Would not recommend if you do not have business in Ringsted.
