We stayed at this hotel because it was the only one with available rooms. The front desk persons were friendly & helpful and the pool was well taken care of with ample towels. The rest of the hotel obviously is suffering hard times: holes in drapes that let in light; holes in one side of bathroom door not filled (was relocated doorfrom somewhere?); shower door kept opening during shower because it was not installed or leveled correctly; deadbolt & strikeplate were offset so room door could not easily be locked; appeared understaffed: front desk person had to check out guests and stock & clean up breakfast; advertised as a hotel & conference center, but both conference rooms were closed off and full of construction debris & other items; landscaping & grounds were not kept up; two parking lot masts were down & neither repaired nor replaced; dust in corners of main room & bathroom; cleaning person spoke only Spanish & did not know names of items like washcloth, trash bags, wastebasket liners, etc.; only one small wastebasket supplied for both main room & bathroom; outlets for guest use were not conveniently located behind the beds; pick two: refrigerator, microwave, TV (only two outlets for all three; CODE VIOLATION: light switch located too close to the sink; queen beds had full-size sheets turned sideways so bottom sheet kept slipping off mattress & top sheet was too short. It was obvious that the nearby new hotel was trying to put this hotel out of business.

Bathroom door was broken you could not close the door completely or you would get stuck inside as handle was broken. Notify front desk didn’t do nothing not even switch us rooms! Floors were sticky walked in and couldn’t even walk across with with them sticking. To top it off microwave was also broken! Won’t stay here again hotel is falling apart.

Slept in the pool. The room window and AC unit opened to their pool two floors down. The humidity and off gassing of the chlorine was overwhelming. Noticed the smell right away, but was in a hurry and forgot about it until I got back late. Slept in it and woke up feeling sick and nauseous. I have no idea how that is not a code issue. Or is it? Otherwise, the property is super dated. Front desk staff is ackward. Price was decent.

Breakfast offerings are cold cereals, instant oatmeal packets, waffles, yogurt, Orange drink (not sure if really any juice) and coffee. Hot water provided for tea. No cold water available.

There were about 30-40 people at 1am that were running up and down the halls, yelling and slamming doors. Not sure if it was some kind of party but not a good night at all. Safety was a little bit of a concern. The poor staff tried to do something but was unsuccessful.

I needed two queens so they put me on the 2nd floor. The 2nd floor had a stench and I requested a move. I was moved to the first floor. The hallway smelt like dog urine. Dogs were barking late into the night. Not a good stay. I will not stay there again.
