Just ‘Meh’
Hotel is in a great location. Near restaurants, shops and I t’s easy to walk places. Fun, reasonably safe (for Baltimore at night), happening/hip area. The front desk staff were friendly, bartender nice and chatty, resident historian nice and informative. Those are the good things. But the bellhop was nonexistent or stood there as we tried to drag our bags up the steps, through two doors to the lobby. Where’s the kindness? Hotel charges a $10 service fee, for what? Forgot to ask. The room was out of date and needs to be refreshed. The shower rod hung precariously from the wall and the curtain pooled in the middle due to the sag and could not be closed when I showered. Did the cleaning staff never notice this? The shower water was either a million degrees or freezing. Again, did the person cleaning never notice and wonder? Tub faucet leaked... I gave it a middle of the scale rating due to the location, but really for the price - $140 after taxes and fees - it really wasn’t worth that much. It could be if the workers and persons who manage them showed some pride in their place of work. But it was just ‘Meh’ and I was glad I didn’t need to stay there more than one night. BTW, the Ghost Tour was really just a history tour - given by a very kind and informative man. But also seemed to be a marketing ploy to show you the hotel spaces which can be rented out and the bar where you can spend money for a drink.

Quaint Historic Hotel
We loved staying here. The front desk staff was so helpful, especially Keenon who went out of his way to help us find good places to eat, etc. The hotel is very clean and quaint. The only negative is that on weekend nights it gets very loud with all the local taverns but we knew that going in and can’t complain They have a ghost tour which I would recommend if only for the fact that you can go to the top level out on the deck and see the whole little town. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quaint, historic place to stay and if we make it back here we’ll definitely stay here again.

Fells Point Gem
The location and ambiance can not be matched. The rooms are small and check-in and check-out is a slow non-automated process.

Mediocre at best.
Mediocre at best. My wife and i checked into the hotel and asked if we could have a quiet room. They said they had a perfect room and sent us to one directly facing the busy square below with a private party and dj about to kick off 50 ft below our window. Finally we were transfeed to another room in the interior of the building. This room was quiet but the bed was rock hard, theres no thermostat, so your temperature setting are heat or cold or on and off. Have fun getting up during the night every two hours to change the settings. Paint chipped everywhere, dirty grout in the bath, etc. For the same price, skip the Admiral Fell Inn and book a respectible hotel nearby.
