Very basic hotel which is in need of an update. Room was reasonably comfortable but looking shabby. The noise from the unit at the rear of the hotel was an annoying drone all night. Good location for our gig at Kentish Town O2 which is only 2 stops away on tube. Thought the buffet breakfast was pretty poor most of the cooked food was cold and the fried eggs looked liked they had been there all week. The staff seemed friendly and the receptionist was helpful when we arrived.

It is, in all honesty, a three star hotel in London. One should not expect velvet drapes or a man called Clive polishing the doorknobs. What you do get is a place that is clean, tidy, and surprisingly quiet, which in this city feels almost mythical. If you are off to the Roundhouse in Camden for an evening of musical chaos, it serves as a perfectly civilised refuge before and after the noise. And for the money, it is absurdly good value, a modest little gem that seems determined not to draw attention to itself.

Furthermore, although this was a without window room, the ventilation was very poor and very warm in the night, with the provided fan feeling like it was taking its last breaths and frequently turning off in between.
