A gem of a hotel!

I can't praise the Blanc Blue 1924 Boutique Hotel enough! The building is absolutely beautiful and very tastefully decorated, with attention to detail. It was totally to my taste and it was exactly like on the photos. The staff was absolutely lovely. They helped me so much and went out of their way to make this stay pleasant and easy. It was very clean. I loved my stay there and I enjoyed sitting in the lounge on a rocking chair which gave me this laid back Cuban vibe! It's nice that it's just a few steps from the Malecón by the sea. The neighbourhood is not the best but it is ideal for exploring Habana Vieja and Vedado, being just in the middle.

The staff were very helpful and arranged everything from a SIM card to Cadillac rides, restaurants and taxis. Nothing was too much trouble, for Roberto especially. It was an okay experience. The hotel is centrally located, a few minutes walk to the waterfront. The building itself is very beautiful. However the room might not be convenient for some travelers as the toilet is located above the bedroom and you need to climb steep steps to get there. WiFi is not free and the signal is not good at all. Robert, the assistant manager (I think) is very helpful and polite.
