Do not let online picture deceive you, no this isn't a high end hotel but it is very clean and staff are extremely nice. It is perfectly situated off the highway and within a mile to atleat 6 restaurants. I stay at hotels frequently @ 3X the cost of this one and this hotel by far has the most comfortable beds.

Don’t let the fact that it is a bit dated deter you.. This hotel was very clean. Staff was very friendly.. It’s located right off the Interstate.. Perfect for our family to stay at while we were in the area for the Semi truck races.. I feel that we were giving someone our business that truly appreciated it.. We ate down the road at Clay Street bar and they had excellent food and friendly service as well..

While this is an older building, it was clean, rooms were clean, although a little outdated. I slept and took a shower for 2 days. Breakfast was good for what I needed. If you want the full hot breakfast thing, this isn’t for you. If you’re ok with grab and eat in my room, you’ll be good fruits, cereal, yogurt, coffee, juice, granola bars, bread and bagels to toast and muffins. Worked perfect for someone going to the medieval faire and not wanting anything to heavy on the stomach. Staff as friendly and helpful. Price was good for needing someplace to sleep, use the restroom and shower. Room was very spacious. Will definitely stay here the next time I come for the medieval faire.

The staff were especially friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable; the continental breakfast was a great variety of offerings. I was impressed that the desk clerk called me right after I’d left to tell me I’d left my laptop in the room by mistake. Quick action by the maid and clerk helped me to be able to turn around and retrieve it before I’d traveled far. I recommend this motel for all these reasons.

Jennifer at the front desk was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. She is the reason we decided to stay. We are over the road truckers and wanted a few nights away from the truck. This is a budget property that needs remodeling, updates, etc. but for the price we felt it was fine. They provide complimentary continental breakfast that consists of bagels and cream cheese, a couple kinds of breads for toasting, fruit, plain yogurt, hard boiled eggs, coffee and tea. We took a 10-15 minute drive to Lake Shore Park right on Lake Erie and enjoyed the views. We also found a good BBQ restaurant in the waterfront Ashtabula lift bridge area.

Jeimy is the general manager and she was very polite my entire stay. Helpful at check-in and allowed me to do so a couple hours early, because the property was fairly empty at the time. It does get very busy mid-week and the weekends. I stayed here in 2024 and had an awful experience. The manager at the time was rude and spoke to me in a way nobody in hospitality ever should. The place looked shabby. It’s not the same today. A lot of improvements visually. There’s a little smoker’s area outside and it’s well-maintained and put together. We had one issue when we stayed here. It was not Jeimy, I think possibly one of the other managers. She made comments under her breath.
