Stayed here a few years ago which was lovely we had a lovely continental breakfast brought to our room so we thought we would go back again well what a disappointment think it had new owners as no breakfast which wasn’t a problem on arrival lady on reception couldn’t find our booking then she said it had been given to another guest she was very friendly went up to our room had clean towels on bed the bed was broken at one end the room was very dark only one light but very dull shelf’s in bathroom were not level if you put items on they slid off toilet basin moved when sat on shower was very powerful could have done with being bit more clean but was ok rail for clothes was over the side which was in the room but that was very old and dated had kettle & tea bags coffee milk sugar 2 mugs & 2very small glasses were supplied had bed side light but only 1 decor was very shabby needed decorating & lighting up very old fashioned went to shut the curtains & they fell down & the side of the pole ended up outside down in the grass & I had to go out in the pouring rain to get it the lady at reception said we could change rooms but I decided to stay where we was as had already settled in managed to put pole back in wall but had to be careful with curtains as it would come off again door of room kept banging in night even though it was sit & locked it obviously needed fitting probably Walls very thin could hear man coughing in another room traffic outside very noisy we won’t be going back

Bathroom looked clean but had a musty smell. Track of snail on carpet beside the bed didn't help overall impression. On the plus side bed was comfortable and linen clean. No sign of staff except at ckeck in

Overall disappointed with this stay. Had stayed there previously aand been entirely satisfied. This time there were so many niggly problems, ie no plug in wash hand basin and when I requested one was told that many of the rooms were also without these plugs. I was given one but this was too big and we had to manage with laying it on top of the drain hole to restrict the flow out from the sink. Shower cubicle was in need of some tlc, ie shower doors did not fit properly, mould around the bottom of tiling, broken shower tap. Overall room was fairly clean, beds were comfy and room was quiet despite hotel being full on the Sat night. Staff were very helpful.

Room not really suitable for a wheelchair user
It's on an industrial park. 24hr desk. Friendly & helpful staff. No food but eateries nearby. Wifi was bad. My room was clean, & roomy for two people. Drawers but no desk, chair or wardrobe (just some hangers on the back of a door). No A/C but column fan in the room. My room had 2 single beds of a decent width but tubular metal framed inc. headboard. Reminded me of children's bunk beds that had been separated. Not that comfortable and I actually slept with my feet nearest the headboard. Very soft mattress & pillows, & the duvet was quite thin. I used all 4 pillows & it still only felt like 1! Very nice bathroom with a corner shower. My problem was, I'm disabled & though I'm not in a wheelchair, the hotel info stated my room was wheelchair accessible, which to me makes it sound like a disabled person would be okay. When I was there, a staff member said none of the rooms are set up for a disabled person. I had rung the hotel & explained I was disabled but no-one mentioned about the room then. Maybe I needed better questions! I was okay in the room but taking a shower was risky for me. There was nothing to hold onto when getting in or out. I survived but if you need help, I recommend taking your own suction handle. I'm pretty sure the bathroom would not be accessible to someone who needs to transfer from a chair to the toilet. For an able bodied person, who just wants somewhere to crash then this place is great for the price. Moderately disabled person, come prepared. 🙂
