Bazaar West (Bazar Vest) opened in 1996 in the western part of Aarhus, and with its 110 stalls, it spreads out over an area of around 215,000 square feet, making it the largest bazaar in the Nordic countries. Strøget
Go shopping on Denmark’s most visited walking street

The Aarhus walking street is also popularly called “Strøget”, and it extends from the Central Station (Hovedbanegården) and the shopping centre Bruun’s Gallery (Bruuns Galleri) on one end to Skt. Clemens Bro by the river and Aarhus Cathedral (Aarhus Domkirke) at the other end.

The Latin Quarter (Latinerkvarteret) is a cosy area known especially for its narrow cobblestone streets and small, colourful houses. Viby Centre (Viby Centret) is in the district of Viby, south of Aarhus centre. The shopping centre was established in 1970, and it attracts more than two million visitors every year. It is easy to spot the centre since it is located under a glass pyramid by the heavily-trafficked Viby intersection. Under this distinctive pyramid, you will find 36 different special shops, including clothing and shoe shops, a post office, pharmacy and a large supermarket.
It is easy to get to Viby Centre. You can take seven different bus lines from Aarhus centre, and if you come by car, there is an underground car park with 500 parking spaces.

Veri Center

Veri Center is on the northern side of the border between Vejlby and Risskov, two districts of Aarhus (the name Veri is derived from Vejlby and Risskov).
