Felt like a dorm, but great proximity to airport
I chose this hotel for its walkability to the airport and its decent price. But I didn't expect it to be more like a college dorm than a hotel. The room was pretty spartan, with furniture that was cheap and minimalist. Bed was uncomfortable, and room lighting was inadequate--it was really dark, without decent overhead light. Breakfast was good, however, and front desk staff friendly and helpful.

Low cost for high price in a captive environment
It’s one of those increasingly popular low cost chains offering high price accommodations in a captive environment. 252 euros for the most basic room with plastic made mass produced furniture and standardized amenities. And they try and make you believe that it’s trendy and fashion. It’s only worthy if you need to walk to the terminal in the early morning hours, as this is the only hotel offering that great advantage in the whole airport.

Stayed for one night before my flight, room was clean, nice breakfast. Shower could have had a door/curtain as the water is getting out of the shower corner easily and splashes on the bathroom door, room was very dark, the only light was from lamps, there was no ceiling light which is a bit weird.

This was my second stay at Ibis Styles BUD this month. The hotel is still conveniently located within the airport parking lot, about 3 min walk from the terminals. Checkin was fairly fast. The room was clean, smelled good and was adequate in size for one traveller. The restaurant and bar were popular at early evening hours. Breakfast was served starting at 4am which can be helpful for early risers. I found that the area around the hotel part of the airport parking lot has uneven pavement for luggage. Also the ramp leading to the terminals is fairly steep. I have no mobility issues but I expect others may have a hard time dragging their luggage uphill. Also, there are no ramps at sidewalk curbs.
