Love this gem of a hotel close to the airport

What a gem, very close to the airport (2 km), good value and genuinely attractive, with a colonial style, rooms have balconies and the garden is tropical and full of exotic plants and trees - one is 300 years old.

Hotel was attractive, spacious and comfortable. It is extremely close to the airport so it was very convenient for our last night stay before boarding an early flight the next day. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

The hotel is in an oasis of nature safely nestled away from the busy nearby airport traffic. Each spacious room also has a balcony. The dinner and breakfast we were served were both delicious. A perfect finish to our trip!

Very close to the airport so it's convenient for that but its just like staying in a high end Napa B &B or one of the many New England mansions I've enjoyed. First night or last night this is the place I'm staying from now on.

Despite getting in past 11 pm, there was someone waiting for who was very helpful and got us into our rooms asap. Quaint, near the airport hotel for those seeking more of a Costs Rican experience.

The hotel is beautiful and the service was great. However, as noted there is no AC. There were geckos around and inside the property which is expected in Costa Rica. However, there were so many mosquitoes inside the room. The patio had no screen doors. The beds you could feel the springs. The property is so beautiful. It just needs some desperate upgrades.
