Room was a state with a ceiling repair and a water stain down the wall. Carpets were thread bare and stained. Mattress was an old spring mattress and pinged every time you moved.. real shame as the property looks nice from outside… it’s more than a travel lodge but is a lower spec room

Very Impromptu Visit, only went to Southport for the day to visit a couple of our favourite bars and Italian restaurant, but ended up staying later than we expected to so checked into the Prince of Wales for the night. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely visit again.

I enjoyed our 3 night stay.The checkin was good.The Hotel staff were excellent.our room was very nice.The only Downside to our room was the door to next door made The sound from next door very loud as if they were in the same room.But overall I would stay here again.
