Aparthotel El Faro

4/10 Poor
"After traveling from USA to Spain in an 18 hour flight and going through traffic and all we make it to the hotel around 3:30p.m while check in is at 4:00p.m be prepared to call and buzz and dial the number on the door to get no response until a guy comes out and tells us go eat and give the front desk time to come in …. Like what ….. cool , he ask for identification we provide him with real ID just to say that doesn’t work ….. cool here’s passport…. Proceeds to ask for our home address….. sir it’s listed in the driver license real ID I just handed you …. It’s almost like no one here knows what they are doing . Proceed to get rooms keys and room number listed in a piece of paper that he keeps …… we get to our room …. Not terrible but not clean, the bedding doesn’t smell like it’s been washed with anything disinfectant like Clorox maybe … everything has a weird smell. Only two towels in the room but it was 3 of us traveling and listed in the reservation. So I proceeded to go back down and ask for another towel luckily front desk was there at the time otherwise you’re screwed. There’s a thermostat in your room … yes…. But it’s pointless for you to try to control it because front desk has control of the thermostat so if you’re hot I suggest opening a window ….. because according to front desk it’s cold so they have the heat on. Mind you temperatures were in the 50s-60s degrees F. Once I called and said my room isn’t getting cool what do I get told it all runs general. "
