Grand Hotel Ampezzo
"Great overall experience. Brand new hotel"
Hotel da Beppe Sello
"Enjoyed our one night stay prior to heading out for the Alta Via 1 hike. The room was cozy and quaint, front desk staff was quite helpful. You do have to walk on a busy road to get into town but it didn’t bother us. We left early & did not partake in breakfast."
Nord Hotel
"Hi, thank you very much to all the staff, our rooms were cleaned everyday. Being english we had pleanty of cups of teas, we were given big cartens of milk free of charge. The views were from our room absolutely stunning. Breakfast was tasty and being just outside of the main cortina town was peaceful and convienent."
Hotel Aquila
"The size of the room is spacious and comfortable. Location is in the center of the town so it’s very convenient. However the downside is that it’s rather noisy at night due to the bar and early morning when the rubbish truck is cleaning the streets. There is no blackout curtain too, thus the street light will be shining into the room too. Breakfast is bad. Staff is nice though."
Franceschi Park Hotel
"Beautiful, nicely situated hotel. Staff was terrific. Especially the hard-working and friendly dining room and housekeeping personnel. I booked a single room and was shocked to find a twin bed built into the wall. Huge uncomfortable until staff provided a topper the next day. Still felt unbelievably small and Spartan, especially considering the price of the room No pool and the sauna was incredibly unimpressive. A sunken hot tub, plunge tub, green wet tile everywhere. Very closed in, dark and so unininviting I lasted only 10 minutes. Breakfast was only OK, and not near the choices and presentation I’ve found in almost every other four-star hotel I’ve stayed in. Except for my room, the hotel truly was beautiful and incredibly well located. And staff could not have been more helpful."
Hotel Menardi
"Beautiful hotel with a friendly and helpful staff. So many neat wood carvings, antiques, great spaces for relaxing, nice bar, good kitchen. Room was clean, decor nice. Really love the place but lack of AC prevented restful nights. We opened the windows but the traffic noise was intense throughout the night. Our room was on the front of hotel right on the road. Cars, scooters and a fair number of semis traveling through disrupted our sleep. Really would have loved to give 5 stars but probably should have given 3."
Hotel Royal
"We love being in the center of it all! The bar in front was our local hangout and gathering spot. The view out of our window was spectacular, Then, those beautiful wood beams on the 4th floor were amazing. We found it easy to shop, eat and get to the bus stop for our daily hikes. We will be back."
Hotel Auronzo Dolomites, Affiliated by Meliá
"The staff is very help. The hotel is old. The bathroom smelled bad (urine). The breakfast is ok, similar to American continental, but below typical European standard. The hotel does not have a restaurant. The town has only a few restaurants. One pizzeria had a long waiting line, we had to eat some sandwiches at a bar."
Hotel Olimpia
"Spectacular view. Look out the window and all the gondolas were there. Close to all restaurants and bars. Amazing experience. I would do it again in a second."
