"Well situated on high hilltop great view of lake . Property has gated entrance . Seems like a safe environment. No air con it was quite hot when we were there those accustomed to air con would not be comfortable . those that do not need tempature control would find it a safe clean well situated venue"

"They are changing owner so lot of work going on. Breakfast is amazing but beds to low and short. This may change as they upgrade but not best nights sleep. Staff are lovely."

"The stay was disappointing for a 4-star hotel and felt overpriced for the value and service you get. The sharp mildew smell from the kitchenette basin table top in the bedroom amd the closet behind the shower was unbearable. It seems the aircon also leaks onto the wood. The front door handle was loose as if broken before, which made us uneasy with the intense website warning of potential trespassers. Security at the entrance gate was very friendly, but didn't once scan/record a driver's/car...

"Just a quick stay at the Tops in Wilderness but must say it was a lovely stay with an incredible view from the spacious balcony. Tom checked me in and was such a great guy. Gave me rundown on everything in Wilderness. He was super friendly and helpful and gave me a later checkout. It’s a up a hill but super close to the charming town. Highly recommend The Tops for your stay in Wikderness"
