10/10 Excellent
"Great glamping experience!! 10/10 recommend! Really awesome tents with plenty of windows for warm days, space heaters and heated mattress pads for cool nights. Really nice bathroom for a glamping tent. Very clean. The only thing to note is that internet was spotty in our tent (one of the furthest from the lodge) - no big deal for us, but worth noting if you need solid WiFi on your trip."

Kimball Terrace Inn Northeast Harbor

Kimball Terrace Inn Northeast Harbor

10/10 Excellent
"For a motel setting, it was perfect because we had easy access to Acadia, a restaurant on property, a view of the harbor (almost every room has one), coffee in room, heated pool, and say to park by room to load car for daily excursions of hiking or biking carriage roads. There’s even a marina and a bus stop (free island loop bus) just a few steps away. I will stay again."

Anchorage Motel

Anchorage Motel

8/10 Good
"Convenient Location and Comfortable Beds, But Still Has a Motel Feel We arrived late in the evening and found that parking was limited. The front desk was very accommodating and helped us figure out parking in the check-in area, which we appreciated. The motel has been renovated, and the rooms are clean and updated, but it still has a definite “motel” feel. The beds were comfortable, which was a big plus after a long day. The bathroom was quite small and could use a little more space. I also would have appreciated a grab handle getting in and out of the shower, as well as more than two towels. The staff was accommodating when we requested an extra blanket, which was appreciated. Our room was not cleaned after the first night, although this seems to be pretty common at hotels these days unless you specifically request housekeeping. There aren't really any extra amenities, so don't expect a lot beyond the basics. That said, the location is excellent — it's within walking distance of downtown Bar Harbor, with restaurants and shops nearby, and only a few minutes from Acadia National Park. Overall, it's a good option if you're looking for a convenient, reasonably comfortable place to stay while exploring Bar Harbor and Acadia. Just keep your expectations in line with a renovated motel rather than a full-service hotel."

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Corea

  1. Book for the cheapest times: The most affordable time to visit Corea is during January, February, and December, when hotel prices are generally lower. For those on a budget, a stay of at least 2 to 3 days is recommended to fully appreciate the key historical landmarks and cultural attractions, including art galleries and museums. This timeframe offers great value for money, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the rich heritage and artistic offerings of Corea while enjoying the possibility of lower prices.
  2. Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To uncover last-minute deals to Corea, visit the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may discover discounted rates on accommodations close to your travel dates. Consider enabling email alerts or push notifications for instant updates on flash sales and special promotions, ensuring you don’t miss potential savings. Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool available via the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, making it easier to find the best cottages and cabins for rent in Corea. This way, if prices drop or new rooms become available, you’ll be among the first to know.
  3. Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, being flexible with your travel dates could enable you to save on your stay at a hotel in Corea. For those in search of distinctive accommodations, boutique hotels can provide a more personalised experience and often better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher end, we’ll recommend more affordable dates, helping you to potentially secure a better deal.
  4. Consider your location: Staying closer to key attractions or city centres may offer convenience, but it often comes with higher expenses. For more affordable options, consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between price and ease of access to the sites you wish to visit. You might also explore independent hotels located further out, which can provide a more authentic and usually more affordable experience.
