"Seriously. I accidentally booked this hotel thinking it was something else and I am so glad I did! Yes, it is out of the way from the historic center, kind of in The burbs but near the university so there's lots to do around. There's also a bus stop located right outside the hotel so getting anywhere was not an issue. This place was magical. It was like I was staying in an art exhibition on the first floor. Request the first floor! Great staff. Really great room. I just thought this was such a unique place and I was really grateful that I got to accidentally stay here. I did not take advantage of the breakfast but I did have a coffee which was delicious. The front desk also moonlights as a bar. Really great place."

"All staff were genuinely happy and friendly. Sat with manager Peter and his son for one hour late afternoon and talked about our two countries. Enjoyed that experience. The breakfast was substantial and coffee very good. The dining area was clean, well designed, and decorated. Plenty of parking. Stayed 5 nights in a well maintained room. Of course the entire hotel is well maintained."

"Amazing! Bright, super clean, the room are big, beds are comfortable. Our room had a balcony as well. Breakfast has a great variety of fresh food. The staff is wonderful - pleasant and friendly, always ready to answer any questions and help. There a high class restaurant on premises with great serving and delicious food. You can also enjoy sauna and gym. And there is a big mountain behind it. The location is great and you get a free bus pass to Salzburg."

"We were a little disappointed on check in to be told we were not staying in the main hotel building but in an apartment block further up the street. We guessed this was because we were a party of three. It was a little odd as we had not read or been informed via Expedia this could be the case. Upon entering the apartment we could quickly see that the apartment was huge, tastefully decorated and well thought out. It just meant we had to walk back up the street for breakfast each morning, which was so worthwhile as it was very tasty with plenty of choice. It was a shame we didn’t use the main site’s facilities such as pool and indoor spa which would have been a bit of a faff but it was still all available to us. If you’re a couple I’m sure the rooms within the hotel are lovely. The town is picturesque and we really enjoyed our stay. Trips to the Eagles Nest and Kongissee lake are a must."
