Courtyard By Marriott Ghent
"Amazing stay. Good, clean and quiet location."
Van der Valk Hotel Gent
"Amazing hotel in a great location. We have stayed in lots of Van der Valks and my children liked this one the most."
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ghent by IHG
"The room size at Holiday Inn Express Ghent was good and comfortable. There were plenty of USB charging ports and power sockets, which was very convenient, and the TV was also quite large. The parking area had plenty of available spaces, possibly because the parking fee of €20 per night discouraged some guests from using it. One major issue was the bathroom drainage. The water drained very slowly, and once the shower was turned on, the water quickly overflowed and left the bathroom floor completely wet. The shower area was also not very slip-resistant and lacked any grab bars, which could be a safety concern. Breakfast was included and offered a reasonably good selection."
Residence Inn by Marriott Ghent
"Room was clean and spacious. Everything in the room worked very well. Quiet hotel and lovly breakfast. Only draw back was having to wait over 35 minute to check in past our check in time. After a long drive with kids you just want to get in and relax. Most members of staff very helpful. When we first arrived the 2 who were checking in were next to useless"
Bercail Hotel
"Clean room, very spacious. Food was lovely in the restaurant, the breakfast was good. Everywhere spotlessly clean"
Najeti Hôtel Lille Nord
"Top hotel, great for families"
Parkhotel Waregem
"Lovely hotel, one slight accessibility issue is the parking is across the road, it's a free public car park but it's a nice area so should be safe."
Babel Community Hôtel Villeneuve d'Ascq
"Clean, modern accommodation. Staff were extremely helpful and provided a very nice breakfast."
Mercure Lille Marcq en Baroeul
"A perfect stop to break-up our journey back to the UK. Parking is free and easy and the hotel is dog friendly. Staff entertained my poor French but speak fluent English. Restaurant is good and breakfast worth paying extra for - good choice, not just continental fare. We stayed during very hot August period, but rooms air conditioned and it works well. No complaints."

- Consider your location: Opting for accommodation near key attractions or city centres may provide convenience, but it often comes with higher expenses. Independent hotels situated a bit further out can often offer a more authentic and usually more affordable experience.
