Hotel Kiel by Golden Tulip

Hotel Kiel by Golden Tulip

10/10 Excellent
"The building is impressive with its great lobby (of perhaps faded art deco glamour) of another era. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is not modern and fancy, but clean and functional. Room was very comfortable. Kiel is spread out and the hotel is a bit far to walk with luggage, as I discovered, but a straight shot to train station and downtown. The terrace in front of lobby was a nice place to sit to enjoy the breezes and chill (it's Kiel!), at least until smokers claim it as their own. The breakfast area is very nice and the breakfast excellent: I highly recommend the breakfast, on its merits, but especially since there are few restaurants nearby."

10/10 Excellent
"Stayed in a suite for 2 nights. Everything was perfect and so convenient for everything. Train station opposite, along with plenty of taxis. Shopping was next to the hotel. Wonderful breakfast was included in our rate, and everyone was so helpful in the restaurant. The check in was perfect and once again everyone was so helpful and friendly. Not far from the cruise port, a short taxi ride away. We are already planning another stay next year!"

IntercityHotel Kiel

8/10 Good
"The hotels location is great wether you are arriving by ferry, train or car. It's located next to the main train station in Kiel and very close to the ferry terminals. You can park in Contipark Parkhaus CAP with direct access to the hotels second floor. The reception staff was very polite and helpfull. The room was clean, spacious and had the amenities you need. Safe in the room. The bed was firm with comfortable bedding. The price of the breakfast did not reflect the selection though, but the total price for our stay makes up for it."

Additionally, there are opportunities for bird watching, fishing, and enjoying local restaurants, all ensuring a great value for money experience while exploring Timmaspe.
  2. Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To discover last-minute deals for hotels in Tempe, visit the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may find discounted rates as your travel date approaches. Consider enabling email alerts or push notifications to stay informed about flash sales and special promotions, which could help you secure the best price. Additionally, utilise the Smart Shopping tool available via the app to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you're well-equipped to find the most suitable options. You'll be alerted if prices drop or rooms become available, making it easier to plan a spontaneous getaway.
  3. Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, being flexible with your travel dates may help you save on your stay at a Timmaspe hotel. For those in search of distinctive accommodations, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and may offer better value. When you make a booking through Hotels.com, we will inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is relatively high, we’ll recommend more economical dates to enhance your chances of securing a better deal.
  4. Consider your location: Opting for accommodation close to major attractions or city centres may offer convenience, but it often comes with higher expenses. For more affordable options, consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between cost and ease of access to the sites you wish to visit. You might also look into independent hotels located further out, as they are usually more likely to be affordable while providing a more authentic experience.
