Grand Summit Hotel - Canyons Village, a RockResort
"We had another wonderful stay, this is our third year of coming for Labor Day weekend. We arrived early and they were able to accommodate us with an early check in. The rooms were clean and spacious, with a full kitchen that we used for breakfast every day. One of our favorite features is the large dining room table, where our party of 8 played card and board games every night. The pool, hot tubs and sauna were used every day, you just can't beat the sunshine in Park City in September. Every request large or small were handled with care by the front desk. The valet station is busier with the change to the flow of golfers to the course, but it they were always quick to help with our car and our bags. The place is top notch, and I haven't even mentioned the great location of the property."

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Oakley
- Book for the cheapest times: The most budget-friendly times to visit Oakley are in May, September, and October, when hotel prices tend to be lower. For a thorough exploration of Oakley's significant landmarks, cultural sites, and natural attractions, a stay of at least 3 to 4 days is recommended. During this time, you can discover historical museums, national parks, art galleries, and other educational venues, all of which provide great value for money. Additionally, the prices for accommodations may drop during these months, making it an excellent opportunity for those travelling on a budget.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To discover great deals on hotels in Oakley, visit the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may find discounted rates as your travel date approaches. Consider enabling email alerts or push notifications to stay informed about flash sales and special promotions, ensuring you don't miss potential savings. With the Smart Shopping tool available via the app, you can compare hotel prices and amenities, making it easier to identify the best Oakley hotel deals. If availability changes or prices drop, you'll be among the first to know, allowing for a timely last-minute getaway.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate due to factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates could help you save on your stay at an Oakley hotel. For those in search of distinctive accommodations, boutique hotels can provide a more personalised experience and potentially better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher end, we’ll recommend alternative dates that could be more affordable, increasing the likelihood of finding a better deal.
- Consider your location: Staying nearer to key attractions or city centres may offer convenience, but it often comes with a higher price tag. For more affordable options, consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between cost and ease of access to the sites you intend to visit. You might also look into independent hotels a bit further out, which are usually more likely to be affordable and can provide a more authentic experience.
