"I was originally booked into a room in the building across the road - but on arrival, I was given an upgrade to a very nice double ensuite room in the main hotel. Some online reviews said it was noisy because there are a lot of bars nearby - but I didn't find it noisy at all. The staff are very kind and friendly. The romm was clean and comfortable. There is no lift - which may be a consideration for some. It has free parking behind the hotel - which, for me, was a big plus as parking around Newcastle is difficult to find and rather expensive. If you don't use a car, West Jesmond Metro Station is a few minutes walk away."

"Room was brilliant hadn't a twin so gave us a double with a single so suited us. Very clean bathroom too. Breakfast was good choice and not rushed. Was very central for where we wanted to go eg Chinatown and metro to Tynemouth . If back in Newcastle would book again"
