2/10 Poor

No hot water. The tub is unsafe. The rooms were freezing cold. We left after the first night even though we had to pay for two nights in advance.

The owner is very friendly. But the facilities in the room are very simple and lack necessary furniture. The room only has a very small bedside table, a soft chair and a long stool. Water sprayed out from the faucet joint in the bathroom. Even calling the owner could not solve the problem. I had no choice but to wrap a strong napkin issued on the plane around the faucet connection to direct the fine water sprayed out into the bath basin to prevent the water from flowing to the shower room floor. In addition, the heating in the room is only supplied regularly in the evening and morning. When I get up in the middle of the night, the room feels cold.

It’s an odd place. The house is lovely. Huge and beautiful living room, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Our own room was big, and the bathroom, while small, was new and clean. One of the comments here said that the hot water didn’t work, which we did not experience. But it did take a couple of minutes for the hot water to come in, so just be patient. The dinner prices are a bit high, but you can order a la carte, and the dining room is beautiful. We bought our own bottle of wine at El Ovejero in town, and that seemed to be no problem at all. The food quality was pretty good, not great. Breakfast was skimpy, but if you ask, they will cut up some fresh fruit for you. And if you don’t like this sort of arrangement, try the brand new hotel in town, which also looks nice.

The staff was very friendly, but there was often no hot water for showers and the rooms were very cold. We were disappointed with the food as well.

An unpretentious friendly, clean and enjoyable place to stay. However the town outside which it is located has very little going for it and the road to Torres del Paine is in a very bad state of repair, noting however a new road appears to be being built.

What a jewel of a place! We stayed there for 2 nights to include New Years Eve, and we loved it. A great B&B feel in a gorgeous setting run by warm and welcoming Chileans. We feel like we got lucky finding this hotel.

We stayed for two nights because it was close to Torres Del Paine NP so we could drive in and out each day and didn’t pay $$$$ to stay inside.

The staff were great! The house had a lot of character as it is 100 years old. Too far from Torres del Paine. 90 min drive to get to the patk

The water is brown
The tap water everywhere includong the sink was brown. The flush took like 10 minutes to refill. The room itself was fine and the location good. And chilean people are super wonderful. But if the basics go wrong, like brown water to brush your teeth with and shower and a fluah that barely works, it spoils the stay.

Loved the location and all the staff we interacted with! Thanks Nicholas and Juan! The place was very comfortable and a nice experience during New Year's Eve. We were able to get a faint WiFi signal in our room, but it was easier in the longing areas. The excursion we booked through the Hosteria was fantastic! The Lago Grey with Navigation was life changing! It did take a while for the hot water to come for our room and maintenance had to fix something. Additionally there weren't games, TVs or radios to use during the quiet evenings so we were glad we brought our own speaker to use for entertainment when we didn't want to be outside. The food they served for breakfast and dinner was really good! We also took advantage of their boxed (sack) lunches and they were excellent! I think I had home cooked turkey with some delicious spices one day on my sandwich-fantastic! We would definitely recommend you place! It was a great experience!
