It was our second time staying at Le Cinq Codet, and it was never a disappointment. We got the Dome Suite this time around, and wow. Just wow. It was as the pictures depicted, and better.
Like a penthouse, the suite can be divided into three generous spaces—the living room, the bedroom, and an astonishingly large bathroom with bath, shower, and vanity. We really lucked out on the value and amount of space, considering how most lodging options in Paris are said to be cramped.
The suite looks out to a verdant terrace that wraps around two sides, with a fantastic view of the neighborhood and the golden dome of the Invalides just across the way.
Daily breakfast buffet is an absolute must—careful to leave room for the remainder of the day! We were greeted with a bottle of champagne and a box of fine chocolates. The housekeeping staff is stealthily attentive for the most part, refreshing our room each day with turndown service.
I would choose Le Cinq Codet again in a heartbeat, especially in one of their top suites.
