I know they can do better
I’ve stayed at this hotel before and had a great experience. Room was ADA compliant like I requested. It was clean and in good condition. This time, few of these things rang true. Room 606 was not as I requested with a ADA compliant layout. Room wall was shredded in parts. Drawers would not stay closed and being next to the housekeeping closet, there were noises all hours of the day and night.
We needed a new fitted sheet at one point and communication with the staff was difficult as they did not speak much, if any English. We were given a queen size comforter at first, then a flat sheet, then a queen sized fitted sheet and finally a king size that we needed. Only to discover it had holes in it.
Shower had hair on the floor. Lobby has some sort of deodorizer that smells heavily of a detergent like odor and is way too strong. To the point of headaches.
I wish this stay mirrored my first one because I didn’t really feel I got a fair deal here with how much they are charging per night.
Front desk service is always so helpful and kind and generally speaking, the hotel is clean, in a wonderful location and isn’t in as much disrepair as the room I described. I think I just got a bad room.
