A great value at the price I booked. Sadly not what we paid. I booked thru Hotels.com & added my friend when delayed by snowstorm Landon. GM Greg refused to let her check in b/c her name wasn't in his system. She had the confirmation email from hotels.com & he still refused. Even when I called him from the road he refused to let her check in. He forced her to take another room at a higher price, in a panic b/c he was leaving at 7, for the entire 9 days b/c they don't book less than a week. He said my room was cancelled b/c of no-show & I should have read the rules. Ridiculous when a weather delay, she was there & I called. He said her higher rate was b/c it was a "slightly upgraded" room, none available same as I booked. He wouldn't release mine to her even tho he cancelled it & charged me a night no-show fee! Now waiting on hotels.com for refund. She had to miss skiing the next day b/c he wouldn't let me check in if she was not there. When I arrived he wouldn't talk to me b/c I didn't have a reservation & threated to throw her out & call the cops on me for asking to see the rules! Basic rooms comfortable beds. Great location, walk to all buses to ski areas. Most residents long-term low-income but friendly. Cleaning staff & night maintenance very responsive & friendly. Kitchen has nothing but empty cabinets. Front desk is open 11-7 & often doesn't answer. Sinks worked badly, requests for repair did nothing. I'd stay there again if not for Greg.
