This hotel is situated in a very nice location facing the lava pools.The beds were comfortable, the balcony was spacious with a beautiful view of the ocean and the buffet breakfast was good. It is within walking distance to all sights in Porto Moniz . There is lots of parking available. Staff were friendly and efficient. We appreciated the thoughtful welcome and departure gifts.

I highly recommend this hotel, it really exceeded my expectations. The staff were really welcoming and friendly. The views from the room are amazing. Really clean and beautiful hotel. The hotel provides you with free passes to the natural pools and does have a bus stop right outside too meaning you can go all the way to Funchal for just €6. Would love to stay again.

Our room smelt soo badly of mold . Bathroom had mold everywhere that was just painted over. Curtains in the bedroom were also moldy. The hotel is under Renovations The staff was very friendly - unfortunately they were fully booked and had to move us to their other hotel. With some pushing we got our dinners covered. Other hotel room was clean. Food was great. We hope they fix the issues with the Reno’s

From the moment we arrived, the staff were gracious and welcoming. Check-in was seamless. The room was clean, spacious and the view was just amazing. Both of the on-site restaurants were top notch with excellent food, beautiful presentation and friendly service. The breakfast buffet was fresh, varied and delicious. The hotel is about an hour from Funchal and public transportation is limited so you will need a car. But well worth it!

en plus de mes remarques , declenchement incendie a 3 heures du matin . pas une personne de l'hotel n'etait presente , un client a appelé la police qui est venue et a inspecter les lieux et a apres45 minutes , la police est allé cherché un menbre du personne de l'hotel et qui a ensuite neutralisé l'alarme . Nous sommes restes une heure dehors .c'est en dessous de tout . a mon domicle , lorsqu'il y a un declenchement , dans la mintie on est appelé et j'ai 4 personnes qui peuvent etre contactés
