It was very comfy and cozy and tons of places to eat and have cocktails nearby; Mike was absolutely amazing and accommodating he is the true definition of a Host and made our stay even more delightful we will definitely be returning to Mares Guesthouse !!! "Not in the best part and not advised in posting exactly where it’s located. Convenient due to price and if you need a quick stay but not something I would recommend. The shampoo was half filled, the room had roaches. "

"Room needed a lot of improvement. No toilet paper holder, towels were old and hard. Beds were hard and it was very noisy all thrive the night. The hallway light stayed on and could be see through the front room door. We didnt get much rest. This hotel is not a resort as it claims. Tiny adult pool. Continental breakfast was toast, deli meats, miniature muffins and coffee. . "

"This property did not disappoint. The staff was welcoming, kind and helpful. My room was just as cute as the pictures. The whole place makes you feel beachie, relaxed and aware you’re in Puerto Rico. I highly recommend this place to single or couples traveling and wanting some relax and beach time. This is BEACH FRONT! Reasonably priced with restaurants, sports bars, shopping and other attractions nears by. "

"Solid apartment upstairs from a restaurant with plenty of safe parking. Could sleep up to 4 with 3 bed options. Water pressure was good but faucets sprayed all over. Main room had AC but just a fan for the other two spaces. Would be good to split with a friend/couple. Perfect location from beaches and city center. Make sure you have a rental car!"
