"Location was very good. Easy to use all transportation. Hotel doesn’t have laundry, but a block away has a coin laundromat. Stores and restaurants are close by. Small cafes are available for good coffee. Enjoyed hotel’s breakfast and they give a voucher if you don’t use room cleaning services while you stay. You can get drinks or water with it. (You know, you need to buy still(clear) water in Europe. First time in Munich? You can try this hotel for sure. 3mins walk from train station if you arrive by train. From airport, you can still take a subway to come. It takes about 50-45mins. Recommend to buy Munich city card if you are healthy walker. You can save some euros if you plan well. You need to check your vouchers from city card website what’s your choice. 15mins walk to downtown if you like city walk."

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Bavaria
Book for the cheapest times: The most affordable time to visit Bavaria is from January to March when hotel prices are generally lower. To truly appreciate the region's historical landmarks and cultural attractions, a stay of at least 2 days is recommended. This allows budget-conscious travellers to explore the rich history, stunning architecture, and beautiful natural sites that Bavaria has to offer. With prices potentially dropping during these months, it's a great opportunity for those seeking a budget-friendly getaway without compromising on experiences.
Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To uncover last-minute deals in Bavaria, visit the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may discover discounted hotel options as your travel date approaches. By enabling email alerts or push notifications, you could find out about flash sales and exclusive promotions, ensuring you’re informed about potential savings. Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool available via the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, so you're more likely to see the best options for your stay. With these resources, you’ll be well-equipped to secure a luxury hotel deal in Bavaria.
Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate due to various factors, including the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates may help you find a more advantageous rate for your stay in a hotel in Bavaria. For those seeking distinctive accommodations, boutique hotels can provide a more personalised experience and, at times, greater value. When you book through Hotels.com, we will inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price appears to be on the higher side, we can suggest alternative dates that might offer a more reasonable rate, assisting you in your search for a better deal.
Consider your location: Staying in the heart of major cities in Bavaria certainly provides the convenience of proximity to local attractions, but this often comes at a premium. Accommodations in bustling city centres tend to be more costly compared to those found in smaller towns or rural areas, which are generally more likely to be affordable. For travellers seeking better rates, exploring hotels just outside the city centre might be a wise choice, even if it requires some additional travel to reach key sights. Alternatively, consider nearby cities that boast rich offerings while presenting more budget-friendly options for your stay.
