The location of the Quest is fantastic - centrally located and a short walk to all food, shopping, and entertainment. The accessibility to the city of Canberra is amazing.
Customer service is fantastic. Staff are friendly, helpful, and more then willing to share their local knowledge.
The room was nice although, had a strange smell throughout and with no ventilation in the room (cannot open windows), its not very comfortable. Pictures capture a balcony in the room which the room did not have.
Detergent provided is barely enough for one wash in the washing machine or to wash a small amount of dishes. The bathroom cupboard with all the soaps, detergents, etc was not able to be opened which was disappointing - we had to purchase dishwashing liquid, laundry detergent, and toilet paper for our 3 night stay.
Property mentions parking is available although, on arrival there is only a very limited amount of parking, and parking actually needs to be pre-booked at the time of the online booking. Parking recommended by staff is off-site. It is secure, and reasonably priced in comparison to other major cities although, is quite a distance away if you are carrying luggage.
Overall, recommended for a couple on a short budget-friendly stay but probably not a family. Not comparable to other Quest apartments in other locations in Canberra and in other major cities - this location is fairly average considering the price.
