The hotel is new so it’s not meaningful if I say the facilities etc are new and clean. The staff are patient and friendly enough. Location? Lots of cheap hotels in Bangkok are in good locations. It’s the first time for me to experience the Rosewood brand and I give it B/B+. I don’t think it’s sustainable if they try to get customers by keeping the price 10% cheaper than Park Hyatt Bangkok. Rosewood has to make more effort in making its guests feel like home. Breakfast was chaotic and choices are limited (perhaps to reduce food waste from the greedy Chinese guests). The changing room by the pool is sad, freezing and smelly. The spa was good not great. I do love the food at Nan Bei. Unfortunately, my big lobster died and I had to settle for a small one on my last night in Bangkok. I was very very disappointed.

Excellent location. The staff are very nice and helpful. The only issue we had was the shower. Water temperature isn't consistent. It gets really hot in all a sudden. They really have to work on that.

My first experience with Rosewood properties. And I was not disappointed. Love the elegantly furnished contemporary Asian designs, the bold architecture (inspired by a Thai greeting gesture) and central location (connected to BTS Phloen Chit). But was most impressed by their service. I was initially checked in to a room that was not reflective of what I saw on the hotel website imagery and the concierge staff, White immediately called front desk to assist me. I did not even have to request a change of room, I just indicated the room look different. But they were intuitive to my doubts which is very commendable. Serena, the manager personally called me in my room to inform me they are looking and getting ready a new room. While Wave, from front desk happily showed me to my new room when it was ready in an hour’s time. Service is just one of a kind. Thank you. Then in the new room, the room safe was faulty and had to be replaced. Again the manager who came up to initially try to reset the safe was very friendly and apologetic. She got the engineer to action on the replacement immediately, while offering me complimentary afternoon tea the next day for this trouble. Again, I did not even anticipated any gestures like that from the hotel, so was very impressed again. The hotel empowers their staff to make guests experience as pleasant as possible. Love the comfy beds, decor is chic and yet homely. Frette linens, towels + Dyson hairdryer are nice touches. Will be back!
