The area was very rough. Lots of homeless and drug users on the streets. They usually leave you alone. There are lots of stores for groceries and conveniences nearby so its such a good location to the train and all the things you need. Quick walk to all the sights as well. Just the area sucks.

The Hotel: Modern, spotless, and very comfortable. The bed was great, the Wi-Fi was completely reliable, and the shower had excellent water pressure. ​The Staff: The reception team was fantastic—warm, approachable, and extremely welcoming from check-in to check-out. ​Accessibility: Excellent location within short walking distance of Frankfurt's main tourist attractions and shopping districts. ​Cons: ​The Neighborhood: The immediate area surrounding the hotel feels very unsafe. The nearby streets are filled with visible drug use, homelessness, and aggressive behavior. ​Overall Impression: Walking back to the hotel felt like navigating a real-life zombie video game where you're constantly dodging sketchy situations just to get back to your room safely. Reaching the front door came with a genuine sigh of relief every single time. It is a real shame because the property itself is great, but the surrounding street conditions make it hard to recommend unless you are comfortable navigating a very rough neighborhood.

The staff is very nice and the hotel lobby and rooms are in great condition! The location is not pleasant, but we didn’t know anything about the Frankfurt red light district. Mugging and violence is not common, but there are lots of homeless outside and it always smells bad. Inside your hotel room at night though, you don’t hear, see, smell anything.

Spent four nights here for the Metallica weekend take over. Hotel was very nice, fresh rooms and friendly staff. Only downside was the surrounding area. 100 meters to the left from the hotel was the Red Light District with lots of homeless people and drug addicts. If you ignore them they won’t bother you but still somewhat unpleasant to see the misery. But walk the other way and you were fine. Hotel was very close to the Haubtbahnhof (Central Train Station) with access to metro, trams and trains. Also close to a bank office with lots of cash withdrawals machines. Overall I would recommend this hotel, maybe not if you are traveling with children but for solo travelers, childless couples and friend groups I say go for it.
