Birthday weekend getaway ruined
We checked in a little after 3pm after traveling all day all we wanted to do was take a hot shower before heading out on the town but it was a long draining process…the water was luke warm borderline cold so I went and told the front desk and she had maintenance come he said it was hot and took a picture of the water which I thought was odd I checked it again it was still the same temperature I let the water run longer and it takes at least 20 minutes to get somewhat hot 30 for it to be actually hot! when we finally did get hot water we couldn’t shower because there weren’t any washcloths in our room! We asked front desk to have housekeeping bring us wash cloths 3 times no one came I finally got fed up with waiting and walked down to Walgreens and bought loofa sponges so that we could shower! We did not receive any wash cloths until the next morning at 10am this was my first and last time staying at the fairwind the rooms are outdated and need to be remodeled indefinitely the toilet barely wanted to flush. Only good thing is it in a great location with walking distance to everything other than that no spectacular about this place

Prime Location
Great stay for a girls trip. The rooms are definitely a bit outdated, but for us it worked for a few days. The location was prime to everything you needed; beach, CVS, restaurants, Ocean Drive, and nightlife. The rooftop pool was a nice as well, but lay out chairs are hard to come by. Overall, we could suck the room up for all the amenities.
