Excellent location- just 200 m walk from train/bus. It is a small town, so everything is close-by. The hotel has 2 buildings- common room and kitchen are in the front one and then crossing a small garden to the 2nd one with all rooms. My room was on the ground floor and it was perfect as not to carry a heavy luggage upstairs. The room was huge compared to all other hotels I stayed in France, probably 3 times larger than some of them. A large and comfortable bed. It is a bit dated. Budget linens/towels, but more than enough for my 1 night stay. The only negative were mosquitoes, but I had a spray to use. The owners were very nice, offered all info in the evening for my next day planning and gave a nice tip of visiting cathedral at 8.30am when nuns sing. It was very beautiful praying time there in the empty church. However, note that museum entrance/tourist office with tickets are open at 10 am. Continental breakfast was simple, but fresh and adequate. Drinks and small snacks were also left for use during the day in the kitchen, which was very nice.I would stay there again.
Irish proprietors were fabulous. V helpful. Dinner was best yet on the Chemin Camino. Thank you.
